Receiving a Thunderbird Send File

So, someone has sent you a file through Thunderbird Send? Excellent! It's simple to retrieve.

Downloading the File

1. It's highly possible that the sender has password protected the file. Before you proceed, you will need to ask them for the password (if they haven't sent it to you already).
2. Enter the password into the field and press the "Continue" button. If there's no password, all you need to do is click that button.
3. You will now see "Your file is ready to download securely." This screen shows you the email address of the sender, the file name, and the file size.
4. You also have the ability to see the checksum of the file, if you wish.
5. Click “Download.” It's as easy as that!

Suspicious File or Sender?

1. Instead of pressing "Download," you have an option right below that button: "Is this content harmful? Report it."
2. Click that "Report it" link.
3. It will then show "Please confirm your report here."
4. Once you click the "here" link, the file is instantly removed from our service and is blocked from being sent to anyone else.
