How to Confirm or Cancel an Appointment

If you need to accept or change a booking, you can do it right from your Thunderbird Appointment dashboard.

Please note: Bookings will be automatically confirmed by default, but if you would rather confirm every appointment manually, you can turn off that option in your Availability settings.

Confirm an Appointment:

  1. Click on "Bookings" in the top navigation of your dashboard.
  2. Find the appointment you want to approve and click on it.
  3. A pop-up window will appear with more details and actions.
  4. Click the "Confirm booking" button to accept it.

Pending appointments will still be added to your calendar, reserving the time to avoid double-booking. Once confirmed, the appointment will stay on your calendar and an official invite to the meeting will be emailed to the original requester.

Cancel an Appointment:

  1. Click on "Bookings" in the top navigation of your dashboard.
  2. Find the appointment you want to remove and click on it.
  3. A pop-up window will appear with more details and actions.
  4. Click the "Deny booking" button to cancel it.

The appointment will be removed from your calendar and the requester will be notified via email.

Rescheduling

There is no function to reschedule an appointment at this time. The easiest way to currently handle this situation is to cancel the existing appointment and then send your client a link to your booking page with a suggested time you are available so they can try booking again.

You can grab your booking link at any time by clicking the "Copy Booking URL" button on the left side of your dashboard.
