Sending Files Through the App

You've got Thunderbird Send all set up and now you're ready to send your first file! Here are the steps:

  1. Compose a new email message, and click the down arrow to the right of the “Attach” button. Choose "Fileink" > “Thunderbird Send.”
  2. Select your file and then press the "Open" button.
  3. Choose whether or not you will require your recipient to enter a password to download your file. We recommend this for safety reasons. Remember to copy the password down, as it cannot be retrieved later!
  4. Decide if and when you want your link to expire.
  5. Wait for the upload to finish.
  6. A link to your uploaded file is now placed into your message, ready to go!
