You've got Thunderbird Send all set up and now you're ready to send your first file! Here are the steps:
- Compose a new email message, and click the down arrow to the right of the “Attach” button. Choose "Fileink" > “Thunderbird Send.”
- Select your file and then press the "Open" button.
- Choose whether or not you will require your recipient to enter a password to download your file. We recommend this for safety reasons. Remember to copy the password down, as it cannot be retrieved later!
- Decide if and when you want your link to expire.
- Wait for the upload to finish.
- A link to your uploaded file is now placed into your message, ready to go!
