Whether you want to include vital business information or your favorite quote, Thundermail supports server-level signatures through the JMAP protocol. You can set them up in the (currently alpha) webmail. Even better, you can set up separate identities tied to your Thundermail aliases with their own signatures. Let's get started!
Setting up signature blocks
- Log into the Thundermail webmail page.
- Navigate to the Contacts icon in the upper left corner.
- In the "Manage" section, click on 'Identities.'
- Click on your primary @thundermail.com identity.
- Click on the edit icon (the pencil) in the side screen.
- Add your signature, and click "Save identity."
- Want to add a new identity and its own signature? Click the 'Add identity' button to add a new identity, with its own signature block. Be sure to click "Save identity" when you're done.
- In the mail tab, click 'New Message' to send a message. Choose your identity in the "From" drop-down menu, and see your new signature!
These signatures will appear from any client that supports JMAP, in addition to webmail. While Thunderbird doesn't support JMAP yet, it's something on the horizon, starting with the upcoming iOS app. Enjoy your new signatures, no matter what identity you're sending from!
