Setting Up Thundermail in the Thunderbird Android App

Installing and Adding Your Account

1. Search for and download "Thunderbird" from the Google Play Store or F-Droid.
2. After the download completes, install and open Thunderbird.
3. Enter in your Thundermail address and account password when the app asks for it.
4. The app will then automatically set your Thundermail account up in Thunderbird for you!

Configure Push Email on Your Device

By default, push email is off for all folders. Thunderbird for Android allows you to configure a limited number of folders (IMAP only) for push email so that you can see incoming email messages immediately.
